My mum returned home and straight away she asked, “They did not come and wash the floor?”

When I tried to correct her that her question was really absurd, she had more to debate about.

“You are the in living room and you should know.”

I tried to make her understand that I did not even know what was going on in the first place.

“It’s written on the notice board at the lift lobby.”

She always assumes that I know everything.
