Typing a Feedback Email

[Friday, 28 January, 2011]

I got home at around 2am from the chalet and started typing a complaint email against NTUC Costa Sands Sentosa Resort until after 6am before I went to sleep.

I woke up eventually at around 2pm. It was a rainy day and I worked mostly on SEO for the tuition agency website. I was very tired throughout the day and thus progress was slow.

Worse Chalet Experience at NTUC Costa Sands Sentosa Resort

[Thursday, 27 January, 2011]

I worked on the tuition agency website until 4am and woke up at 11am.

My elder brother’s friends came over as we prepared to set off to Sentosa for the chalet at Costa Sands Resort.

I had a horrible experience at the chalet and was very disappointed with their services.

I managed to spend a couple of hours working on SEO for my blogs and other websites before my laptop’s batteries were drained up.

After the Chalet

It had been long since I last took heavy meal on my own account. I kept walking over to the barbecue pit to grab food and also swallow cups of fruit punch. I went to sleep after 3am.

We woke up at around 9.30am to start packing up everything, returning the tables and barbecue tray to the blur auntie. Then, we shared two cabs home.

I was only able to enjoy my favourite show on channel 8 for an hour before noon as my elder brother suggested to go for the famous lor mee at Ah Moy Street. After our brunch, we accompanied our mum to the sen sei to bandage her sprained finger, which cost me $16 without any twisting of the bone.

I spent the entire day sleeping and preparing for my reservist, but eventually I failed to find my army’s driving license.

My Elder Brother’s Chalet

It was one of the chalets that I slept early. My brothers and my elder brother’s girlfriend were the only four persons inside the double storey chalet. My younger brother went up to sleep first and followed by the couple. I stayed at the ground floor to surf net using my younger brother’s laptop, network powered by the iPhone. It was still noisy after 1am and there was a sudden birthday song. I dozed off after 2am.

In the morning, the four of us went to the shopping mall to shop for some food at the NTUC. Then, we went to the food court for brunch. My younger brother and I took a set meal of eggs, bread and tea, and we also bought a plate of carrot cake to share.

Since we were entitled four tickets to the Escape Theme Park and I made my virgin trip there. We tried both the Go Kart courses before going into the haunted house. We decided to go back later in the day for other games.

My younger brother and I dipped into the pool under the hot sun. The stamp for re-entering the Escape Theme Park was washed off by the water soon. Even though we tried to stay under the small shaded area, I felt the pain of sunburnt by the end of the day.

My mum arrived with my elder brother’s friends, with the fried mee hoon and curry. In the evening, my younger brother asked my mum and I out to the seaside for a walk and I regretted not bringing the camera along. We went back in around half an hour’s time and camped at storey two, where my younger brother and I had a game of Command and Conquer again.

The guests were impressed with the frame made by my brother to place the cupcakes. The cupcakes were quite disappointing in terms of the size, the holder and taste.

Since I did not know most of the guests, it was quite boring until I started playing with a baby together with my mum and younger brother.

Second Singapore Flyer Experience

On Friday, I woke up early in the morning again. I had only three hours of sleep as my old habit returned to haunt the night, refusing to let me go to bed before it was satisfied with the amount of work I could do.

It was not a good start of the day to face a colleague who seemed to have suffered from PMS. I was taking over Weiming’s class, which I was not familiar with as compared to all the other seven classes. On the bus towards Singapore Flyer, the fun was too short for celebration.

I was very used to seeing ugly students among the angels but the shame of Singapore joining in my group worsened my foul mood. Having twenty-five people squeezing inside a capsule was pathetic. The half an hour stay in the air was the longest thirty minutes I had ever spent.

My lunch was at Popeye at the cost of thirty-five bucks. I joined Joy’s girls at the Esplanade later for a walk. My mind was in a dilemma since I wanted to join the KO students at Marina Barrage and yet, I wanted to reach home by 3pm as to go to the chalet with my brothers. It was not long before the fatigue ruled my head and wiped out my brain. My eyes were closing and my skull was unbalanced. Nevertheless, I had some moments of relaxing periods.

I reached home just in time when my brothers were going off. Since I had not packed my stuffs and that my brain was losing to the gravitational effect, I decided to join them at night even though I could have gotten a free ride by my elder brother’s friend.

I concussed on the mattress and woke up in the evening. After dragging for a long time, I finally started leaving my house in my backpack. My younger brother picked me up near Pasir Ris MRT in the double bicycle but he got the shock of his life when we started moving off. It was difficult to balance. I took the front seat when I went East Coast Park with Wanling long ago and I supposed it was easier to team up with a non-cyclist. Alas, we got used to it and got back to the chalet.

My cross cable was put in good use when we started LAN gaming, joining my younger brother and my laptop together. However, I was very disappointed that there was no wireless internet connection within Costa Sands Resort and thus I could not do my work. My younger brother could plug in his iPhone to access the internet but mine did not work.

Mingfa’s Early Birthday Celebration

Saturday night’s chalet was one of the weirdest ones I had ever attended. I probably should have kept my ears shut earlier since not knowing anything would be a blessing perhaps.

Mingfa came over to pick me up and we wanted to meet up the rest at Tampiness One, however, got stuck at a multi-storey car park nearby. We were trapped inside for more than ten minutes even though we had given up.

It took us quite long to get to Downtown East. It was drizzling and thus we decided to fill our famished bodies before collapsing. The “chicken rice shop” served quite nice food.

The group of us started to enjoy ourselves inside the room by playing poker. I did two sets of push-ups as forfeit, whereas Mingli and Ruoci outshone everyone.

I was a freeloader during the barbecue session and I was not comfortable with it. Boredom almost killed me until we started playing some reaction games.

After Mingfa blew off the candle on his birthday cake, Jingkun sent Weitat and Mingli off. After a while, Mingfa kindly became my chauffer again.

Jingkun's Chalet at Changi Safra Resort

Last Tuesday, I continued to be drained during work. There was a limit to how I could help others but nothing could be done if one did not wish to help himself.

Right after work, Weitat drove Mingli and I to meet up with Mingfa at Clementi. We enjoyed waffles bought by Mingfa. Weitat had his existing identification card sized photo reprinted, which was a waste of money for the costly price and lousy quality. We wanted to get some rice but none of the stalk owners wanted to sell us.

Next, we proceeded straight to Jingkun’s chalet at Changi Safra Resort. Our initial plan was to play bowling or indulge ourselves in other facilities available. The steamboat set refused to give us warm food and I ended up eating only a fishball, a piece of vegetable and three seventy-percent done prawns peeled by Mingli.

We called for pizza and decided to cancel it for they called us back to inform of that it would require around one and a half hour delivering our order over. Later on, we called back to resume the order.

As Jingkun and his girlfriend left to pick their friends up, the remaining four of us started playing mahjong. It was not long before the pizza delivery man arrived and caught us by surprise. The couple returned with their friends and the mahjong game stopped. I had only two pieces of pizzas to fill my stomach and afterwards, the ice-cream made the night.

Chalet With Ex Colleagues

I wanted to go to the chalet earlier to swim but my gang wanted to shop for Chinese New Year clothes. We met up at Queensway Shopping Centre and they were late for half an hour. In the end, none of them bought anything except me, who purchased a pouch at fourteen bucks.

My stomach was bloated again somehow due to indigestive of my late lunch. We went to Ikea near 6pm and took hotdog bun with drinks for a dollar seventy cents. We could have left for the chalet but they wanted to shop there, and I felt bad for not going earlier to help out in whatever I could. I took the chance to rest my stomach while trying out the sofas, chairs and beds and by the end of the trip, I got pretty fine. However, none of them purchased anything again.

We took bus 195 down to Queenstown MRT and after the train ride which I managed to doze off, we transferred to bus 354 from Pasir Ris bus interchange. It was already after nine. Meeting up with the rest of my ex colleagues was extremely nice. The smokers lighted up the cigarettes to keep mosquitoes away for the entire night. The remaining few of them who had still yet to tender were suffering under the disgusting management. All the working till morning three o’clock stories pierced me right at my heart, and the fact was none of them was appreciated. Three of the new staffs were locked in the office on this chilling Saturday night that they could not join us. How evil some bastards could be?

I did not talk much throughout the night. A sudden sadness struck me when some of them began leaving. I felt so lost somehow and I wished I can talk to them more. In the end, my gang left as well. We watched “Mummy” and I dozed off soon after that.

Chalet, Wake and Boon Lay Drive Show Flat

[Sunday, January 28, 2007]

My family and Ivy’s siblings had a little good time at the barbecue pit. It was the first time I had marshmallow with chocolate and melting it above the heat gave wonderful sensation upon reaching the mouth.

My brother’s friends were playing mahjong while the rest of us were at the room. After the long and exhausting day, I was shagged, partially due to the breakfast at evening. As I was drained and had to work for the next day, I did not hesitate to sleep before them.

I woke up a few times in the morning and finally when my brothers brought MacDonald’s breakfast over. It was not a good breakfast for I was almost frozen and too cold to enjoy it. Then, I had my bath and never wanted to part with the warm water.

It was another walk towards Jurong East MRT alone. I was late for a while but luckily did not delay them. Junrong and Huimin were already waiting at the bus-stop and all of us went into the church together. By then, I realised so many people did not go so I roughly guessed the next year would be worse. Mrs Ng’s cries at the end of the session were very saddening.

We went to West Mall’s Pastamania and I camped there with them while waiting for Mingfa to get ready. My stomach was floated somehow and was feeling very terrible. I took bus 174 by the main road but missed the bus-stop that I had to walk over from Jurong Point to Boon Lay Drive. I had a very frustrated afternoon.

I met up with Mingfa soon and saw how the show flat was beautifully designed. Jolee came back later and taught us things. She was a nice lady.

After 6pm, we left the place and both Mingfa and I walked to Jurong Point. He met his friend there and later Wilson and Weitat arrived. At the box office, Meijun had already arrived. They wanted to catch a show but I decided not to join them since I was so sleepy, hungry and broke. Sadly, they did not even have time for dinner with me before going into the theatre.

I went home alone, dozing off right after sitting down on the train. As I was crossing the field towards my house, I met my mum and younger brother. They were going to Plaza Singapura to get something as well as for dinner. I was so tired that I decided not to waste my transportation fee again and went home directly instead.

Work and Brother’s Chalet

610, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 – living room and kitchen

3 bedrooms

As the daily routine proceeded, I was lack of sleep once again. I managed to reach Lorong Ah Soo at 12pm and met up with Kelly. We did the final documents for the flat before Kelly sent me over to Ang Mo Kio. We went to block 610 straight before rushing to block 219.

We met up with Jeff and he sounded better in real person than on phone. His client was a very nice and easygoing guy. Throughout the showing of the flat, Kelly out-performed Jeff so much that I was afraid Jeff would be jealous of her. Anyway, Kelly did it on purpose for he was muttering to his client all along.

Kelly and I went to near her place to pass her son money for dinner. Then, we went in the rain to my house where Kelly used the internet to check for client’s enquires. Later, we went down to meet Uncle Sam and David. Things came to a good progress finally.

I went down to Jurong East straight away. Walking there with a total empty stomach seemed to take forever. I managed to find the chalet fast and quickly grabbed some bites at the barbecue pit. It was not as crowded as I expected. It was quite boring at times.
