Finding Song

Anyone has the MP3 file by chance?

Websites Dealing for the Weekends

For the past few days, and even at this point of time, I’m very busy working with websites. The amount of work pending for my completion is enormous. I owe a few people some websites, and at the same time I’m trying to maintain some sites for testing purpose.

Sitting in front of the computer, straining my brain to debug and forcing concentration on some boring repeating procedures almost caused my suicidal.

Nevertheless this is what I prefer to do, and that I did make some achievements somehow, for instance, on design and implementation of features. The hands-on on a couple of new stuffs were good experience. I need to release some of my energy for new input of knowledge, open myself up and explore more.

The “Quit Smoking” site is still on hold due to time restriction and sadly, nobody with good English can offer me any help. Besides, the programming part is also another headache. Not to forget that I still owe Gilbert another website and I hope our flames of enthusiasm has not ceased.

No More Upcoming Shows

My scenes for the new show, “Just in Singapore” are all over. Last Friday, this Monday and this Tuesday showed episode 10, 11 and 12 on channel 8; and the last one caught me unprepared for I did not expect them to be aired straight in a row. Anyway, only episode 12 had my face nearer to the screen.

The only lucky moment was the close distance interaction with Fiona Xie, which some guys would certainly envy, and which I could boost about, but actually was nothing fantastic.

The days which I was working on website at home and could afford some little time for filming at Mediacorp would always be remembered; during those days, I did not have any responsibility other than the fact that my saving was depleting.

新醉打金枝 DVD

There are not many good things that happened recently, at least none that I can remember.

Until Wednesday, my younger brother bought the DVD for “新醉打金枝”. Both of us like watching it. The storyline goes well and it is tremendously entertaining with all the humours.

I have missed six episodes consecutively for my reservist and the week after that due to fatigue. Ever since, I no longer need to be afraid that I would miss any episode on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Twelve bucks for five or six DVDs was quite worthwhile. However, I’m so afraid that I might lose control of myself… twelve bucks after twelve bucks and after twelve bucks is no longer cheap.

Smile Alone Does Not Solve the Problems

A present of appreciation is a boost in morale, but never enough to kill all the unhappiness. Things are really beyond help. The work, the betrayal, the limitation and the unforeseen are haunting. Maybe, I’m not suited at all.

Benefit of the doubt seems too foolish to be given to everyone.

We all learn as we grow up by facing liars, setbacks and all the backstabbing.

Smile alone does not solve the problems, let alone all the drawbacks.

The Only Change that Does Not Change is Change

It took me years to get to see Er Xin once again. I did try to meet him out a couple of times but there was no luck. I was sick on the previous day we were supposed to have dinner together. This meeting brought back memories of the past.

The feeling will never be the same again. Nobody will stay forever. We grow up to have more opinions of our own.

The only change that does not change is change.

Difference between Stingy and Thrifty

Growing up is all about spending more money. The biggest difference is that when we are young, we are spending parents’ money; when we get older, we are spending our own money.

There are just too many fortunate people living around me who can never understand the fears. We simply belong to different groups, or rather, different classes; of course, I’m in the lower class.

It requires some standard of income stability to be able to afford a meal which cost over two hundreds dollars for a Valentines’ Day dinner. Be it whatever annual event which can only be celebrated once a year, you will not even think about celebrating it if you are having financial difficulties.

Financial freedom includes when you can survive even without working; that is you do not need to contribute any money to the family, and you do not need to repay any loan at this point of time and in near future. For example, if you are the only child, you need not necessary purchase your own house in future even though you may wish to get one; you do not have the burden.

If you have not experienced facing long lasting financial crisis before, you will never understand the meaning of poverty. Since then, your mentality of spending money would differ from the very poor ones.

Most people understand the concept of “saving for the rainy days” but not many can execute it well. The poor ones definitely have greater determination, especially those rare ones who have experienced “raining for donkey years” after doing their best to save up; they greatly appreciate their own efforts. The feeling is definitely different from spendthrifts who face sudden debts.

We should thrash out between stingy and thrifty. Stingy is a negative value, which is often deemed as excess scrimping, but is never a crime; whereas thrifty is definitely a good one. A stingy person is a person who is self-centred, whereas a thrifty person simply eliminates unnecessary expenditure but will spend whatever is required. A person who spends little on his own stuffs and causes his own sufferings, yet is willing to spend on others, is definitely more than a thrifty person. If you want to be respected, activate your little brain to analyse before you make comments because it can be discouraging and hurting.

I never want to grow up because of the heavy responsibilities. We each shoulders different weights.

Wanting to Get Away

The urge to get out of the office increases everyday. It is disastrous to work in such a condition that when you are rushing some important stuffs and yet people bomb you with immediate work to intercept and kill your momentum. Others start chasing you for your work and then some people keep asking causal questions when obviously you are already so fed up and lagged behind time.

Give Me the Laptop and I Would Run Away

It is amazing to work without a laptop for a person who is in the IT line. When the shared computer is being used, which happens often, you are left totally helpless.

Another big problem is that you cannot leave your work area to in search of a quieter place when you are actually facing bombardment every now and then. You may not be a professor but there is always something extra you know or do not know – they will just ask you questions.

However, the problem with some organisations is that they are too disorganised and things can never get done fast. In the end, everything drags and it takes more than three months to anticipate the soon arrival of your essential equipment.
