Toilet Bowl Choke

“Many chokes are caused by people flushing things down the toilet that are not intended for it. Never flush paper towels, feminine napkins, condoms, or anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.”

It may not be fully choked, but it is disgusting to see waste on the top of the pair of water, which refuses to subside in the next ten seconds after flushing.

After pumping the water with the pumper, things got better but it is obvious something is still there, ready to create a massive flood in the toilet any time.

Has a snake crawled up and got struck down there? Who on earth would be so dumb to dump things other than toilet papers into the toilet bowl?

Chicken Rice at Chinatown Complex

[Saturday, 15 May, 2010]

It was a different start of the day for I did not feel like sleep early despite I knew I could not really doze off easily. I kept working till a couple of hours before sunrise.

In the evening, my mum and I walked to Chinatown to meet my elder brother and his girlfriend for dinner. We were aiming for the chicken rice near the escalator and having missed it a couple of times previously, we managed to get half a chicken after a long queue. While waiting, we saw a dish collector chatting away with customer despite the tables were in a mess. When my mum went over to approach her to help to clear up our table, she claimed that she was not in charge of our area. A foreign looking guy with a few piercing around his face showed a total attitude but he did not seem to look at me when I was trying to show him appreciation by smiling.

We did not have a long night out. After dinner, we went to the NTUC for a short while before reaching home at 8.30pm.

It was another boring day despite it was a weekend; I felt like a forgotten soul. The aching of my upper body caused irritation to me.

Webcam with Brother

[Friday, 14 May, 2010]

I wanted to go to sleep early but my younger brother came online and asked my mum to the webcam chat. The three of us squeezed inside the air-conditioned room while I listened to my mum’s craps. I could not doze off after that.

The aching from the previous day’s workout put me on the bed every now and then. It was a boring day.

Physical Training and Volleyball

[Thursday, 13 May, 2010]

I went down to Tze Khit’s gym and he started teaching me how to work out my upper body. To me, I was satisfied with my current size even though many people were saying that I looked underweight, and therefore, I was not very keen in it. However, Tze Khit showed excellent professionalism even though we were such good friends and thus, I was serious during the training as well.

After working out, we went to the Tanjong Pagar food centre for dinner. I did not realise I could finish the entire plate of duck rice when I was already bloated with the very late lunch. Then, I took his van to ITE Clementi. Throughout the day since I woke up, I was flooded with the hesitant to go down.

It was good to see familiar faces inside the MPH. I did not expect one of the cute year one girls to join floorball and thus I got to see her after their briefing.

My presence was nothing new but I felt weird still. The grouping did me good though I did not have many chances to perform. In fact, I could not even lift my hands straight up after the gym and my entire body was weak.

It was sweet to receive goodnight SMS!

After the late game, I took Tze Khit’s van again and together with Kachua, Andy, Wilson, Ah Teck, Kok Chiang and his girlfriend, we left for Newton Circle. I was shocked after my first inspection on the inner stalls for most of them were selling seafood. I did not find any western food stall and I ended up buying a plate of chicken rice from the only stall. I was stunned by myself once again for I could finish up the entire big plate of food.

Visiting Tze Khit’s Gym again

[Wednesday, 12 May, 2010]

I went to Tze Khit’s gym to pay him a visit after dropping the UOW survey form into the SingPost letter box and the cheque from MediaCorp into the PosBank quick cheque deposit box.

He told me I had just missed a babe who left right before I reached. I had a long chat with him over there while he worked out a little. Then, we went to the market and met Zijun. The latter’s success put me down.

Email Gathering Script

[Tuesday, 11 May, 2010]

I tried so hard to doze off but failed after tossing around for more than an hour. I got up to continue with work until 6am.

The greatest achievement of Tuesday was to complete a script to gather email addresses from any chunk of texts.

The day was not as boring as the previous days for I utilised my SMS.

I had a jog before midnight again and my timing improved.

Elder Brother was back From Thailand

[Monday, 10 May, 2010]

On Monday, my elder brother finally returned to Singapore from his Thailand trip. I was not sure if my mum was aware of the messy situations at Thailand but I was sure that she was very pleased since she had started waiting since before midnight and she came home from work earlier.

I was the happiest man after all because of the laptop backpack he and his girlfriend bought for me at Thailand. It was a nicely designed black colour compact bag and I would say that was the best bag I had ever owned even though I had not brought it out.

In the day, I started gearing up for another fleet of Facebook marketing. I would probably gather more arms first before striking. I started tidying up my blogs. Some alignment problems cracked my brain badly and finally I realised it was due to the size of embedded Youtube video.

It was an extremely boring day.

I went for a jog before midnight and was quite satisfied that my timing had improved by half a minute but the lower back was giving me some slight problems during the jog.

Mothers’ Day Dinner

[Sunday, 9 May, 2010]

I spent the early morning finishing up for the sCreative website. Then, I moved on to improve other websites. The morning was boring.

Work occupied me throughout the afternoon. I was able to push the latest design to live, which left me a more peaceful mind, except that lots of contents were required to be added.

Since both of my brothers were not in Singapore, I was quite pressured over where to bring my mum out for dinner. Tengy gave me good suggestions and I was very impressed with her knowledge of my neighbourhood, forgetting that she used to work around my place and Chinatown.

In the end, I brought my mum to Chinatown Point for Swenson since both of us could not order many dishes if we were going to have Chinese meal. The ambience was not nice because the place was too small. The banging onto the chair by the staffs and the loud market noise from the customers were annoying. We ordered a plate of fish and chips and breaded chicken to share. The waitress recommended us a $5 add-on for a drinks, soup and ice-cream to fill our stomachs completely.

We walked towards People’s Park Centre at the Swanston store to get cheap stuffs before going home. I wanted to help my mum to top up her Ez-link card since she was complaining that she had not done it for very long already, and suddenly she asked me to transfer some money into her bank account, and my hesitation to get a DSLR camera died.
