Sweet Gorgeous Slim Sexy Girl at SIM Bus-Stop

Mingfa came over to join us for lunch and Jingkun took us to the newly renovated West Coast hawker centre to fill our stomachs. The place was crowded and there were queues in front of most of the stalls.

The previous western food stall, which I used to frequent, was not around anymore and thus I tried the other one. The uncle had an assistant who was going around irritating everyone; she simply had no direction and was grumbling to herself whenever she was holding plates to find their owners.

Jingkun went over to cancel his order and I was quite lost for Weitat needed to rush back to office. Luckily, at the time when I was going over, my fish and chips was ready and I managed to save time from letting the old auntie wandering around before reaching my table. I had to swallow everything fast and the lousy plate of plain fish and chips without any salad; and the fish tasted plain as well.

After going back to office, I was quite troubled with Photoshop again for George’s site, which needed to be up by next week.

In the afternoon, I went over to meet up with Mingfa for dinner and it was almost a wrong decision since I forgot that he had to do debrief his students after the training, which dragged until almost six PM. We went to Clementi hawker centre. I enjoyed the chicken cutlet, which was served in bigger proportion than usual, but some parts of the meat were a bit overcooked. He was waiting for Wilson to join him before going to NUS for the girls’ training.

I took bus 184 and went up to the UOW administration office at level six to look for Bernard. I was looking at a list of number outside the door and it took me some minutes to confirm that UOW was not listed there. I called Bernard directly at his office phone line and a lady picked up to tell me that he was gone already. She told me not to hang up while she was searching for my letter at Bernard’s table. After wasting my phone bill for some minutes, she confirmed that Bernard had not helped me to prepare the document to confirm my enrolment in the university to defer reservist. I was quite disappointed since Bernard was the one who actually asked me to go to find him before my lecture and that not only he was not around, he did not even prepare it for me. I had to agree with Jingkun’s judgements for the staffs.

I went down to level four immediately to get my student card done. It was just a photo taking session and I had some doubts in the photographer’s professionalism since he did not seem to get anyone to adjust their faces at all; at least it was an impression he had given to me.

While going down to the lecture theatre at level two, I met Professor Willy and we exchanged smiles but I believed he could not really recognise me as his student among so many people. I had been sitting on the third or fourth rows in front every time and I hoped that at least he knew my existence even though he would probably be going back to Australia after the two weeks’ intensive lecture; he seemed to be a great guy.

Anyway, since I had to cross over to the opposite side, I took the escalator down to level one to cross over straight and take the other side’s escalator up to level two again. Professor Willy eventually reached the theatre before me. I thought I would be late for the third time, but since he was late for five minutes as well, I considered myself as reaching on time and it was great.

The lecture proceeded immediately but the speakers were irritating me with the echo. I was not sure of the “system” and thus I controlled my urge to request for adjustment of the sound mixer. Nevertheless, I got used to the pain on my ears after some time.

It was a tiring evening for me again but at least I felt better than the day before since I had around six hours of sleep even though I did not manage to pay back the “sleep debt”. At some points of time, I almost shut down. I saw a guy who resembled Yuanle but I did not want to lose my image to confront him in case I had recognised the wrong person. We were dismissed earlier than usual since Professor Willy did not want to start another lecture to end twenty minutes later.

Like usual, I went to the toilet before pacing to the bus-stop opposite, however, it was quite a lucky night for me to enjoy a great scenery. There was a sweet girl at my height, waiting for bus with her group of female friends. She was wearing very short shorts and her slimness was quite addictive. Her friends boarded the buses one by one and she was all alone, standing there so gorgeously and tempting. I wasted the chance after waiting for some time for my bus 75 to arrive and confirmed that I did not have the guts to approach girls on street. Anyway, she was not totally my type even though I could hardly take my eyes off her.

I managed to catch my favourite show Yi Zhi Mei on channel U for half an hour instead of five minutes.

So Near Yet So Far

It took fifty-five minutes from Clementi ITE to reach SIM.

Bus 52 took very long to arrive and the traffic was extremely slow since taking off from the bus-stop. There were many people boarding and alighting, putting off my plan to go and get my student pass down.

The lecturer, Professor Willy Susilo, looked young and thus, was very impressive to me. Lecture was tiring after lacking of sleep for two nights. The stress at work had worsened the situation.

After all, it was all about me and my weaknesses. I was too used to having irregular sleeping hours and thus, I could not focus well. I almost dozed off many times and I knew things would not progress well.

It seemed impossible for me to reserve more spaces in my memory space.

Having the entire lecture theatre filled with groups of friends, I seemed to be the loneliest one. It would be a big problem when group work came in.

Mei Hoe donated a realm of paper for my studies.

First Day of School at SIM

It was difficult to get down to sleep early and I had to toss my body repeatedly to find the correct position but to realise that I could not doze off still. My legs were aching somehow and stretching them could only help a bit.

My younger brother seemed to try to adapt to my sleeping trend and did not switch on the air-conditioner; however, my mum did the usual disgusting job of increasing the electricity bill for herself to grumble at the end of the month.

In the end, I made a correct choice to numbing myself on the massaging chair and I dozed off quite soon after that.

I started yesterday morning as a policeman. It was difficult to go against big groups of rascals and the job was shit.

Jonathan added comments about the design of the flyer and the amendment haunted my morning when I was in the lab. George kept everything in place there and thus, lessened one of the loads on my mind.

Lunch was together with my gang and Daniel. Since the canteen was crowded, we went out to the Avenue 2’s duck rice stall again to share an eighteen bucks half duck. Drinks were on Daniel and I only forked out twenty cents.

I was anxious about my lecture notes and thus I called my mum to check whether was there any letter for me at the letterbox but she was not home yet. I started doing the amendments of the flyer and since Jonathan’s document was in Microsoft Word 2007, I was forced to install the version of Word into the crawling laptop.

Jonathan came to look for me before I could do much changes and we sat together to make the changes. My mum called in the midst of the work and told me there was a letter for me, but it was actually from UOB instead of SIM, and my heart was wrecked. Wee Lian came over to discuss over the flyer with us and he helped to make changes to the contents, which not every boss would bother to do personally.

After everything was confirmed, I gave a call to Bernard from UOW and he actually thought he had emailed me the password to my student portal to retrieve all the lecture notes and information, and I was very disappointed with the service. He promised to email me and send the hardcopy to me.

I was at a loss since the lecture was at seven PM and my initial plan was to go home since I had told my mum I would be back for dinner before going to school. My younger brother was not at home and I was wondering how long Bernard would take to send the email over to me.

It was raining, which really worsened my mood. I was supposed to be going down to Bukit Batok alone for the next day since Afni was having orientation and it was another bomb to me, and that I had to carry the heavy projector home to bring it along with me all the way to Bukit Batok.

Things got better when I received the email and managed to log into the student portal but Jonathan came back for more changes. I was totally stuck that I could not leave the office nor print out my lecture slides.

Then, I got a half confirmation that the Bukit Batok’s lesson would be beginning only on the 19th and it was a big delight. Nevertheless, I had to wait for mobile phone confirmation, which I was already quite certain since the email was already received. The stupidest thing was when I said about I did not receive the email, I was told by the freak that he did not have my email address. I had sent him email before long ago for work purpose and that, everyone inside the office had been receiving daily staff movement updates from Jonathan every morning, and often, Wee Lian would broadcast email and specially address the contract staffs’ names. That guy was really a freak.

After asking for opinions, we settled down for the final design. Eunice was cool and she had super duper good judgement; I was in fact quite glad that I did not have to work under her, otherwise I would never meet her superb standard even though she was kind.

The queue at the printer was bad. Someone printed large number of stuffs and eating up the papers Daniel put inside the printer. That person was really an asshole who did not dare to own up.

Weitat finished the checking of some report cards by himself within one and a half hour when it was supposed to be shared between the three of us. Then, he helped me with printing of my notes.

Weitat, Kevin, Daniel and I were ready to leave together at around five PM. I was quite turned off by the fact that I was an hour behind my plan. When we reached half of the stairs, Daniel went back to get his umbrella and later, he went into the administration office. He did not catch up with us. Since it was already quite late, Weitat’s initial plan to accompany me home to check on something was taken off.

Kevin took bus at the interchange and thus I walked to the MRT alone to miss a train and having to wait for five minutes at the busy hour when people were getting off from work.

After reaching home, I only took a little food and threw them into my stomach, which was very bad for my usual stomach stitch. Since I was drenched, I took the risk to take a bath after toilet meeting and I was quite impressed with my own speed.

I wore a polo tee, jeans and a pair of sandal instead of just shorts and slippers due to Kevin’s influence. I wanted to test the market before down-dressing more.

There were two empty seats at the back of the bus 75. I was expecting many people to alight at Outram Park MRT but I was totally wrong. It was too late to regret when the seats were taken up by very disgusting people who rushed to take them. Due to the bus hour, the traffic was quite tight and slow moving, and it took me some time to get to sit down and open my notes to read. However, since I had less than four hours of sleep the night before, I started nodding and decided to give up.

I was late, which I blamed badly on the traffic. There were many groups of students inside the lecture theatre and I felt quite outcaste though it did not matter much to me. When the attendance list was passed to me, I saw that there were only around ten or fewer students who went into the third year directly, which meant that most of the students were already classmates for one or two years.

I could concentrate on the lecture and understand the points since most of them were too logical to me, but I failed to recall the points no matter how I tried. It was going to be terrible if the exams were to ask me to list out all the points before writing down the meanings. Memory was my killer.

I smelt a strong orange fragrance and I thought someone was eating it. Then, I remembered Hirman had given me a small orange planted by himself personally and I had not taken it out from my bag since a week ago. Then, I knew something bad had happened and quickly zipped up my bag to stop the smell.

I was quite happy that the first lecture ended at 8.30 PM but when the professor mentioned about the second lecture, I was very stunned since I had only printed out the notes for the first lecture. Luckily that the next lecture was about security, which was quite straightforward and thus, there was not many notes for me to write down. Nevertheless, it caused sleepiness and my mind went out of the screen every now and then, but was lucky enough that I did not doze off.

After the class, I went to the toilet since I did not go for the break for I was alone. I crossed the bridge to see Kok Chiang and Ah Teck smoking there. Even though I was irritated by the disgusting smell, I stayed there to chat with them. Many students walked pass and gave obvious disgusted looks and hands actions to shake off the smoke when they passed by and I supposed smoking under the shelter was illegal under the new law.

Even though I had just missed the bus 75, the next one came within ten minutes and it was the second time I took the new bus, which was designed for the disabled. I felt so glad that very few people hopped onto the bus. A cute and sweet girl
boarded it after me but she was sitting at the front and thus I was not entertained during the distance, except by two guys behind me who were chatting quite loud in unknown language. The girl alighted near Zouk.

I rushed home after alighting from the bus and I could only manage to catch the last few minutes of the Yi Zhi Mei Korean show on channel U.

The Last Day before School Starts

I started off yesterday late again. The stupidest thing was that I forgot to switch off the alarm clock and thus I was woke up in the morning over nothing.

I did some packing of my work area. Tidying up and keeping of stuffs took me very long as expected.

I also did some updating of my website’s calendar with the first two weeks of my classes and I noticed that I had to spend the entire day in SIM for the first two Saturday from morning nine AM onwards.

My mind was unrest for the entire day because of the upcoming challenges.

New Mobile Phone Pouch

My Saturday started off late. After finishing the design work for a flyer, I went to Marina Square with my mum and younger brother to re-contract a Starhub line.

While waiting at the bus-stop, two smokers were just right outside the shelter and the wind tried to murder us by blowing from their side towards our direction. I was wondering how effective NEA’s law to ban smoking inside bus-stop was. We took bus 75 and alighted opposite Marina Square. One of the escalators was spoilt and I was surprised that the management kept the working one moving downwards. We got a new phone for my mum.

I was trying out the free wireless network but it was not as easy as I expected. I could not login into my Gmail somehow and that some websites took forever to load.

Dinner was at Carl’s Junior. We shared two sets of meal and chitchatted over there. It was already nine PM and every shop was beginning to close so early on a Saturday night. We walked towards Suntec City to search for phone pouch. My younger brother got himself one good quality pouch at Popular bookstore and he bought me one at the Wallet Shop. I hesitated for quite a while before buying because I found the pouch not very pretty but it was ultimately interesting for a heavy Internet user like me dealing with all the advanced sites. We book bus 196 home after that.

After eleven PM, I went down to jog with my brother with his phone to try out the Sport Tracker using GPS. Unfortunately, at some places, there was no signal and thus we could not totally trust the results.

512 MB Ram is Never Enough for Photoshop

I took a risk of spoiling my own reputation on Friday by not going to office. Weitat and Jingkun knew my situation well and suggested the idea to me the night before.

The travelling time was definitely harmful to my work. The time wastage and crawling-like speed of the laptop together with its lack of resource to do up the design work forced me to make up my mind. It was a good decision. At least I had clear self-conscience that I was even spending my own holidays on work.

The staff from Starhub finally called over. My younger brother confirmed the new line we were going to subscribe and together with my mum’s singing, we picked a new number out of the given choices. I would be waiting for the new SIM card to be delivered over and then my current line would be cancelled.

I was tremendously sick of receiving annoying calls looking for another person on my line ever since I got it three years ago. I guessed the previous owners of my current number were running away from loansharks and thus they did not let anyone know of them changing their numbers; or perhaps, some morons could have given their friends wrong number (my number). Lastly, it was also necessary for me to get away from gays and unworthy friends.

Jonathan sent me new pictures for amendments. I further touched up the faces of the models to remove pimples and moles, and smoothen their faces. I was one step nearer to perfection of my Photoshop skill though I was not even at half of the journey.

In the evening when I was taking my nap from the exhaustion of making love with Photoshop, my mum called to ask me to go down to get my watch done. It was a birthday present two years ago from my younger brother and the chain was a bit tight that I had not put it on for so long.

New Year Day 2009 and About Dreams

I started my New Year day on Thursday late since I slept late to do up some design work.

The long sleep eventually took me to an exciting dream of mysterious action scenes. It would definitely become a blockbuster if I could remember everything. It was not the first time I was inspired by my dreams but too bad that I was not a movie scriptwriter. I could write everything down as I remembered after waking up but my mind was more about my work and websites.

It has been quite long since I dream. I used to dream almost daily during my army days and it was a big twist after that. I have heard sayings that having dream during sleep is not good since our minds would be working hard during the sleep when they are supposed to be resting. However, does dreaming symbolize a more active mind, which is better than being a zombie?

I love dreaming of beautiful things because sometimes I dare not even daydream since good things usually do not happen in real life, at least, not in my life.

The first day of the year was a dull day. More effort was spent on packing up of my harddisk. I also copied my previous NP’s stuffs to the harddisk from the backup CD so that I could work on the flash game to recall my flash skill again.

The beginning of the new week was a terror.

.

New Year Eve

I was supposed to make full use of the entire day but I woke up to be very restless. No matter how hard I tried to force myself to focus, my mind seemed to be numb. Despite taking naps, I could not help but to become a wasted man for the entire afternoon.

I signed up for an account for Wireless@SG but since there was no network at home, I could not try it on my phone.

My gang went to Jingkun’s girlfriend house for steamboat but I chose not to join in since I was quite sick of heaving steamboat. Moreover, it was at Bukit Batok, which was of a distance away. The worst thing was transportation at night for I did not want to make any of them drive me back after midnight specially from the West to Central of Singapore.

My decision to stay at home seemed to be correct as I got into the mood of working on Photoshop soon. I learned more skill as I progressed. Whenever I got bored, I had twenty minutes of counter-strike game.

While everyone was counting down for the new year, I was playing game.

Year 2008 – The Year of Enlightening

– Work
My work as a lecturer continued from end of year 2007. I met the best bosses on earth and more cute colleagues. I met youngsters who were enthusiastic but many were merely wasting their lives, which was disheartening. Even though I had gained many experiences from the job, but it did not do any good in prospect. The first time I was supposed to leave, Jingkun stopped me and I stayed on even longer to earn my university fee. The supposed-to-be three months work lasted more than a year.

– Financial
It was the first time in my life that financial was stable and I could spend more than ever in food and clothing. However, I had to save up for my degree course and thus, could never afford to enjoy myself sufficiently yet.

– Health
Health was at a poor state with some major flu and sore throat attacks every few months. Stitches at my stomach after every meal worsened. My right knee was injured after diving on the ground for volleyball and badminton games. My weight went down to fifty-two kilograms at the worst time.

– Family
There were more family gathering sessions.
– Friends
Other than making more great new friends, I got closer to my buddies who worked with me since we hanged out very often for meals and helped each other in work. However, I drifted away a lot from other friends. My MSN was quiet most of the time.

– Sport
I took up golf at Queenstown driving range under Irwin’s influence but my skill was never good since he did not stay in Singapore for long each time. There was less volleyball games towards the end of the year when some bastards made things difficult for us. I got to touch badminton again after ten years of exiling.

– Relationship
I got to know some nice girls but none had appreciated me. I was destined to focus on my work and be ready for my studies. Nevertheless, I knew my own situation well and was not ready to provide a good life for anyone.

– Achievements
The greatest breakthrough was the financial stability, such that I did not need to starve myself like sometimes in the past. The registration of degree course in University of Wollongong was an achievement as well, with the advanced standing to the third year.

– Failures
Greatest failure was the lack of motivation to finish my websites. I was also unable to do up a portfolio as planned. Next was the bad habit of treating girls too nice.
