Beware of Stalkers

One thing I hate is when people try to get close to me just to get to know the opposite sex; this is so disgusting and despicable but some people can be really desperate.

This has been happening since secondary school days when teenagers get mature and perhaps, losing their integrity.

Even though I do not know many babes and hunks, or at least they stay far away from me, it always happens that guys try to hook up with them by pulling string with me stupidly.

I know that not all friends are reading my blog, but I still hope to get this message around to as many friends as possible, especially for the females – not all friends in my Friendster account are really my friends and not all chat session who I have spent are of my will.

The moral is whenever anyone tries to hook up with you, do not assume that person is my true friend even if it seems to be; approach me first.

In life, it is impossible to totally stay away from a person if you do not like him or her to avoid having any crushes; at least return a “hi” and “bye” when required.

Second Shopping For Chalet

[Thursday, 02 November, 2006]

My mum woke me up at around nine in the morning despite sleeping late. We went to a shophouse at Amoy Street to search for the barbecue stuffs. The shop did not sell those trays I was looking for but instead, two types of nice looking pits at $9.50 or $19.

Self assemble BBQ pit; one for $9.50

Since I was not sure of the size of barbecue pit I could rent at the chalet, I could not make up my idea. I got Vivi to check their contact number from my website and check the barbecue pit size but they replied her “normal size”, which was very unprofessional.

My mum and I went for breakfast at the hawker centre. I thought it was a wasted of trip if I did not taste the Lor Mee. As we were finishing the food, I saw a girl who looked like Fengjia but she was back facing us in front of the stall which I suspected belonged to the Sai family. I messaged Princess and was quite shock that she replied me faster than usual; I realised I should have approached Fengjia and made her guess who I was.

Back to the shop, I bought two $9.50 barbecue pits and a packet of transparent plastic bags for making ice.

We went to NTUC again to scout for chicken breast meat but realised they did not stock it up. The bottom of my feet were aching but I persisted on to the Amara Hotel’s Shop and Save supermarket and realised part of it was already rented out to other company and it was pathetically small, which did not sell chicken breast meat as well.

As we decided to go home first and get the chicken legs and wings from NTUC during evening, we crossed over the road and passed by a shop selling shoes and slippers. Since my old ones were worn out and the lack of grooves caused slipperiness and aching, I decided to get a new pair at $2.90. Cheaper stuffs might not mean lousier and I believed young people nowadays would go for branded ones which would cost at least five times more, which was impractical.

I got to rest at home and touch up on the chalet’s preparation list. I messaged everyone the unit number which I got it a day before and later dozed off for a while.

It was seven in the evening again when my mum called me to go down. We intended to have dinner together before shopping for the chickens and I met Vivi near the market; she was intending to give me a surprise visit. I saw her from far and she only got to realise it was me at a close distance.

Together, the three of us went for dinner at a coffee shop. We ordered a plate of hokkien mee and fried rice to share. I got two cans of carrot juice and a can of Kickapoo. Then my mum realised an interesting error from the Kickapoo company; the liquid was transparent instead of yellowish. I brought it back to the drinks stall and one of the uncles tasted it as 7-up and explained they were from the same company.

After dinner, I realised I did not bring the NTUC voucher down. Vivi went up with me to take it and went down to meet my mum immediately. Then, we bought chickens and marshmallow, with some sauces.

Vivi’s plan to stay behind till ten failed as usual as her mum called her to hurry her home. I had to send her home after we brought the stuffs to my house. Since it was late, I decided to send her all the way home; it had been long since I did that ever since I had my operation.

Appreciation

I am home!

Thanks for all those who turned up for my chalet, especially those who helped a lot; you should know who you are.

I kind of cannot remember some of the presents were from whom and that was why I told you guys no need to get me any since you could just smoke through; thanks anyway!

Let me just gather the photos first and upload to Mike’s server before I inform you of the URL. Get back to me a week later if you do not receive anything from me.

Meanwhile, I will try to update things slowly.

First Shopping Day For Chalet

[Wednesday, 01 November, 2006]

My first day of shopping spree with my mum was in the early afternoon.

We went downstairs for brunch after I woke up. We pasted by the chicken rice stall on second storey and saw Wanting, and my attempt to snap a shot of her helping her mum clear the dishes failed. We ended up at the hawker centre and I took the new Japanese stall’s food – Chicken Teriyaki.

Wanting refusing to do her job

We proceeded to the NTUC and got some food like hotdogs and crab meat sticks. We also went to the barbecue area but could not find the tray which my volleyball friends used at Xinyi’s house previously. In the end, I just bought some plates, spoons, forks and cups; thanks to Ou Xiang, else I would have to buy more. The bill was over fifty bucks.

After reaching home, I dozed off until evening, my mum woke me up and we had another round of shopping, firstly at the second storey provision shop to check prices and then back to NTUC again.

We bought some good quality syrup and they cost me another bomb; carrying them back was a problem as well when my left leg was still weak.

Volleyball finally

[Tuesday, 31 October, 2006]

I was waked up early like eight plus by Peh’s SMS to ask what I wanted for my birthday. Then, I went for my haircut at nine thirty.

I was right at the door when there was an auntie blocking it and staring at me amazingly. I turned around for a while and approached the door but she simply stared at me until I decided to push the door in and she questioned me.

Soon, Mdm Yeo came out from toilet and that weirdo claimed that it was weird for a young guy to go for haircut at such early hour; I did not realise there was a curfew in aunties’ minds. Anyway, they were chatting about a choir lesson and it was really boring.

Later on was hours of time wasted for renewing of my antivirus software.

As time was approaching for volleyball, I remembered they always took their own sweet time and thus I decided not to go early. It was training at Clementi ITE and since I had to take a long walk from MRT, I hesitated to skip it a not. As my craving for volleyball was huge, I decided to test the condition of my leg as well as to exercise.

Eventually I forgot to bring my water bottle. Luckily, I remembered to bring my old spectacle along but putting it on caused some dizziness. There was a mixture of Clementi Town Secondary boys and girls, and also the ITE girls. I could not move as quickly as before and squatting down was a problem. Then, I realised landing on the ground caused some pain after jumping and thus I did no dare to spike.

As they started to play friendly matches, I lay on the side to get back some sleep. Even though I could not doze off, I managed to tame the sleepiness. Some outsiders had booked the court at night and we got to play friendly match with them.

Mingen seemed to hate them greatly and made it so obvious. As I was conscience about my leg’s condition, I did not do well in spiking. We won the first game and lost the last one without Mingfa.

My plan to go to NTUC to check out prices was killed by the late hour. All of them went out for late dinner together while Mingfa and I took the train home.

Property Agent

[Monday, 30 October, 2006]

The met up with Mingfa took longer than expected. Francis was late as we waited at a coffee shop at Holland Village for him.

There were not many questions for him since I knew nothing much about property and he sounded that the course would teach us everything. $500 was a mountain amount to me.

But there are great plans and aims both Mingfa and I share which drive me to take up the job.

The difference between being a property agent and an insurance consultant is that people will buy house only when they need it, unlike everyone basically needs a saving plan; a property agent does not go around asking people to buy house but to help buyers to find potential houses.

I will most probably take the risk to take the course and strive for a better future with Mingfa after my chalet.

After the meeting, Mingfa and I went to meet up with Meijun and Jamie at Buona Vista MRT station, which was very nearby. Then, we had our dinner at Clementi and I had fish and chips as usual.

Chalet and Presents

As the chalet is approaching, I am looking forward to more suggestion of activities. Please give some feedbacks even though I know none of you would do it except for those who have already tagged at the website – http://sillydumb.com/birthday2006.

I wish to apologise again for not able to invite so many people since the place is not big. The two groups of guests I have invited are my previous unit and BMCC volleyball friends; some of my very close friends are neglected as well.

Early thanks to my photographers Gilbert and Da Zhang, and also my chefs Ivan and Ah Teck.

Until now, I have more or less confirmed the number of guests going for the barbecue; I have also confirmed true friendship. Those people who have not decided on whether staying a not are causing quite big problem but I am not going to care anymore.

For those who are going for the chalet, please do not worry about getting a present for me because I will not remember to ask for any from you; those who are not going, I expect presents.

Since I am living a dull and boring life all these years, I do not really need anything except a PDA which you can never afford because I am not your son and you will not spend so much; so, you can just forget it. As for formal wear, you do not know my size.

Anyway, I have already gotten a watch and swimming trunk. Better luck okay?

Early thanks to Siu Hang for getting expensive birthday present in Hong Kong for me.

My second birthday present

[Sunday, 29 October, 2006]

Gilbert wanted so badly to help me with the decoration of the chalet and we met up at Bugis. Nobody else was free except for Jielin.

It was a bad day for me as the buns I took were causing indigestion somehow and I felt so awful. Another thing was when I forgot to put the batteries from the charger into the camera and even the spare batteries were on the table as I took them out few days ago; I brought out a camera without any battery at all. There were nice moments waiting for my camera and it was really sad look at my pouch which held the camera.

Jielin arrived some time later and we met her up and went to Suntec City. We continued to shop for her shoes as Gilbert bought me a swimming trunk as my present. That was the second one I had received for this year’s birthday.

Jielin testing cap. My 6230I’s camera is lousy.

My second birthday present – Swimming trunk

We camped at MacDonald’s after that while we took our dinner. We sat and chilled up for more than an hour, trying to finish up the fries. It was near 7pm when we walked Jielin to the taxi stand and accompanied her to behind the long queue.

After that, Gilbert and I walked to the Cityhall MRT station and finally ended our day. It was a cool day.
